.. Sunlight dapples the ground, through leaves of the purest of emeralds during the warmer seasons of newleaf and greenleaf. The rivers are clear and clean, full of a life of their own. Fish jump freely around, easy prey for any clan cat or loner near by. A dark gray path of foul-smelling sorts runs through parts of each of the sectioned off territories. It is called the Thunderpath, and monsters with unblinking, glowing yellow eyes rush by, holding Twolegs in their bellies, yet allowing them to come and go as they please.
Hidden in each gorse covered areas, are camps for all the cats that live here. You see, out there in that moor? That's the Windclan land. And that dark, and shadowy part of the forest, just past the Thunderpath? Shadowclan cats thrive there. Opposite them, on the reverse side is Thunderclan. A river runs through their territory and marks the boundry between them and Riverclan.
Each of the clans have their own characteristics of the kind of cats who live within them. There's also a few scattered Loners, and Kittypets who house inside the gardens of their selected Twolegs. Most are not bothered by either of these cats, unless they wander into a clan's camp, or surrounding land. Between these camps, in the very heart of the forest, is a place called Fourtrees. Every full moon, which is every month all the clans merge, so to speak. This is called a Gathering. The leader takes their deputy, and a small group of selected clancats to accompany them. It is considered quite and honnor to go with the leader, I might add. Perhaps if you are lucky, and all goes well, you too will see what these gatherings are like. Starclan watches over, and smiles downupon those who stick to the rules, while the cats who ignore them feel their wrath.
Listed below, in alphabetical order are the clans and generalized characteristics of each clan. Choose wisely before your kitty sets out to join any of them. You don't have to, however as their are Loners and Kittypets around, but they are sadly not well liked by clancats much, seeing as it is their prey they are stealing..
[Riverclan]
Sleek coats from diet of fish, generally not too grumpy with strangers, enjoy water and fishing, excellent and powerful swimmers
[Shadowclan]
Rude to most other clans, many have dark fur, want more power, many can be cruel, don't like strangers, care mainly for those in their own clan
[Starclan]
The ghostly guardians and protectors of the four clans and the forest they live in, send them prophecies, never clear on anything, dead cats hunt with them, much like cat-heaven
[Thunderclan]
Pretty peaceful, often fair in judgement, very good woodland-prey hunters, will take revenge to those who have done them wrong, usually kind to strangers
[Windclan]
Tend to be on the smaller scale in size, great rabbit-catchers, may or may not pay back if in debt, unpredictable with strangers
