[glow=blue,2,300]This is the cat code of honour, for clancats. Not listed in any order.[/glow]
1. The safety of the clan is more important than the safety of any one individual.
2. Feed the clan before yourself.
3. Respect the all elders.
4. Apprentices must hunt for the elders.
5. Apprentices become warriors whenever they are ready.
6. Mentors teach their apprentices how to hunt, attack, dodge and fight.
7. Apprentices must travel to the moonstones before they become a warrior.
8. New warriors must sit vigil all night, protecting the camp.
8. Kits become apprentices, when they are 6 moons old.
9. Gatherings will be held in truce, every moon.
10. Kits and queens may not attend gatherings.
11. Leaders must travel to the moonstones to get their nine lives and suffix part of their name "star".
12. Leaders sit vigil all night with the cats that have died.
13. Elders bury the dead cats.
14. Deputies must have had, at one time an apprentice.
15. New Deputies must be named before moonhigh.
16. When a deputy is named it cannot be a queen.
17. Harming a medicine cat is unheard of.
18. Female deputies, leaders or medicine cats may not have kits. If they do, they will lose their rank and have to deal with any other punishments the clan collectively decides to give them.
~Edit: I don't like this rule. It's not very fair. So.. Female leader/deputies may have families, as long as they have a mate to help take care of the kit(s), while the mother is "on duty". She must be able to have time for both her family and her clan.
19. Do not kill, unless you must.
20. Protect the clan with your life.
21. Kits may not hunt.
22. You may not hunt outside of your clans' territory.
24. You shall perform and carry out all duties as best as possible.
25. You shall guard the clan carefully, and join in protecting and/or battling when needed and necessary.
26. You shall stay loyal to your clan.
27. A leaders orders must be followed without question.
